Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in a therapeutic provision for children and young people with complex needs.

About the Role

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will work with young adults with high-functioning Autism, Anxiety, Social & Emotional or Mental Health conditions. You will use psychological models and practices to enhance the cognitive and emotional skills of the young people, preparing them for adult life and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young adults with complex needs, using psychological models and practices to enhance their cognitive and emotional skills.
  • Work closely with parents, teachers, social workers, and doctors to provide the best outcome for the young people.
  • Use psychometric tools to assess and develop interventions for the young people.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support the young people's goals and aspirations.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training and qualification in Psychology or Psychotherapy.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience working with children and young people.
  • Good knowledge of psychometric tools and experience working with young people with ASD and complex needs.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Psychological Society (BPS) or equivalent.
  • A full, valid UK driving license.
