About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical/Neuro Psychologist to join our team at Adderley Green, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

As a Clinical/Neuro Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions, including assessments, therapeutic sessions, and staff training. You will work closely with the Consultant Psychologist and other multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans that meet the complex needs of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for service users with complex presentations.
  • Provide individual and group interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and other evidence-based approaches.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of service users.
  • Design and deliver training programs for staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in psychological interventions.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided.
Requirements
  • Hold a BPS-recognised psychology degree and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Have Chartered Psychologist status and relevant post-graduate qualifications.
  • Be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division.
  • Have experience of applying psychological knowledge to a clinical/neuro setting.
  • Be experienced in working with clients with cognitive deficits.
  • Have previous experience of conducting research and project working.
