CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and dedicated Multiskilled Shift Engineer to join our team at a thriving commercial campus.

This exciting opportunity offers a permanent position with a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks across the campus.
  • Perform lighting installations, fault diagnostics, lamp replacements, ballast changes, control panel adjustments, and power distribution checks.
  • Conduct thorough emergency lighting tests to ensure safety compliance.
  • Maintain air conditioning systems, including air handling units and fan coil units, by performing filter changes and cleaning operations.
  • Monitor water treatment systems, conducting temperature checks and ensuring proper functionality.
  • Address plumbing issues, such as unblocking toilets, to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Oversee the Building Management System (BMS), monitoring key parameters like hot and cold temperatures.
  • Coordinate and supervise sub-contractors for specialized tasks.
  • Participate in client meetings as required to discuss maintenance needs and progress.
  • Maintain accurate site logbooks to document all maintenance activities.

Shift Pattern:

  • 4 days on, 4 days off rotation (2 early shifts, 2 late shifts).
  • Early shift hours: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.
  • Late shift hours: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am.

Requirements:

  • Hold a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Possess a City & Guilds 18th Edition certification if electrically qualified.
  • Provide verifiable copies of your trade certificates.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Exhibit strong multi-skilled capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
