Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at The Random House Group Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading our financial reporting and compliance efforts, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the preparation and filing of local statutory accounts and group reporting
- Perform reconciliations of debtor/creditor balances and profit and loss intercompany trading
- Produce and investigate balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
- Provide timely information and responses to our tax consultants and auditors during half-year and year-end audits
- Ensure the correct application of group accounting policies and maintain strong controls, compliance, and governance
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with one of the UK CCAB chartered professional bodies, including CIMA
- Proficiency in IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of key accounting concepts and general reporting requirements
