About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Micronclean. As a key member of our Engineering Project team, you will be responsible for leading and managing major capital projects, including industrial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions at the forefront of innovation in the laundry industry.
  • Manage virtual teams and coordinate efforts to deliver project outcomes.
  • Take a structured and flexible approach to project management tools and behaviors.
  • Identify and manage the project critical path, including managing risks and opportunities.
  • Employ a completer / finisher mindset, addressing snags to realize the initial vision and taking project outcomes from good to excellent.
  • Contribute to key project management practices, including time / resource planning, cost planning, creation and management of specifications and other key records, project review, reporting and communication.
  • Select contractors and suppliers and manage them as partners.
  • Understand and engage project stakeholders through verbal and written communication.
  • Collaborate with key business functions, including Health and Safety and Quality, to deliver projects that are safe and meet customer expectations.
Requirements
  • Degree level qualification, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Ability to apply engineering knowledge to technological innovation.
  • Experience of multi-million pound construction projects.
  • Experience of cleanrooms or the life sciences industries is desirable.
  • Project management qualifications or experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD to read, amend and create architectural drawings and piping / instrumentation diagrams.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
