About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ward Administrator at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our ward team, you will provide administrative support to the ward manager and contribute to the smooth operation of the ward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and typing duties as required, supporting the ward manager with general administration.
  • Maintain and update filing and record-keeping systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Update information, including primary nurse lists and ward posters, to ensure the ward is well-organized and compliant with regulations.
  • Contribute to the general upkeep and organization of the nurses' office and ward managers' office, ensuring a clean and efficient working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a similar role and/or environment, with a strong understanding of healthcare terminology.
  • Previous experience of typing up medical reports and patient discharge letters, with a high level of accuracy.
  • GCSE English, C or above, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
