An exciting opportunity to join a highly successful food business as a Category Manager. This is a newly created role.
Key Responsibilities:
To participate in the implementation of a defined strategy and ensure regulatory and legislative requirements are met for individual categories.
Accountabilities:
Accountable for delivery of agreed targets and objectives, conducting strategic category review with line manager for all sub category areas, and implementing long term strategic category plans.
Key Skills and Experience:
Previous experience working with the waste category within procurement, previous supervisory or management experience is required, and the ability to track commodity pricing information, market vs contractual position, and use data to support commercial and business objectives.
What We Offer:
Supporting and coaching less experienced members of the team as appropriate and deputising for the Head of Procurement where appropriate.
