About the Role:
As an HR Operations Coordinator, you will be part of the HR Partnering Team and will be the first point of contact for customers. You will provide efficient, effective, and customer-focused support for HR Operations activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking a wide range of administrative processes to ensure HR records, systems, and databases are up-to-date and accurate.
- Administering the DBS renewal process for employees and maintaining a strong working knowledge of DBS compliance.
- Updating guidance documents as required.
- Creating, administering, and maintaining records for claims-based members of staff from point of recruitment to leaver notification.
- Carrying out pre-employment checks, including right to work in the UK, DBS checks, qualifications, and others where appropriate.
- Monitoring shared HR Services/jobs email mailboxes and redirecting and escalating as necessary.
You will work closely with Faculty Administrators and other teams to ensure seamless delivery of HR Operations activities. You will be experienced in dealing with high volumes of queries, producing letters, and updating spreadsheets. You will be able to organize and prioritize a busy workload and use your knowledge to solve problems, providing a timely and customer-focused response.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A range of GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent, or NVQ Level 2.
- Experience in dealing with high volumes of queries and producing letters and updating spreadsheets.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
