Position Overview

Wayman Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school community. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with young learners in a nurturing environment that prioritizes both academic excellence and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement stimulating lesson plans tailored to the KS1 curriculum, ensuring that learning is both engaging and effective.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to organize and participate in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive educational environment.
  • Adopt a student-centered teaching approach that promotes critical thinking and independent learning.
  • Embrace inclusive teaching practices that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Keep accurate records of student attendance and performance in accordance with school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background.
  • Proven experience in teaching Key Stage 1 students.
  • Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A collaborative team player with a genuine passion for education.

Compensation

The salary for this KS1 Teacher position will be competitive and aligned with the national pay scale, offered on a permanent contract basis.
