Job Title: Optimisation Director

The purpose of this role is to drive business growth through the optimisation of client websites, leveraging web analytics and digital experience strategies to deliver high-impact results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the portfolio of existing client accounts, providing guidance to ensure long-term retention and client satisfaction.
  • Review client strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives, including A/B testing, page redesigns, and site speed optimisation.
  • Be accountable for client programmes, supporting POD leads in identifying opportunities for growth and developing solutions to keep clients invested in our services.
  • Work with POD leads to identify opportunities for existing client growth, providing support and coaching to increase client investment and find cross-sell opportunities.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching for POD Leads on client strategy solutions and be the senior escalation point for client issues within the Strategy Team.
  • Support the New Business team in creating pitch strategies for existing Dentsu clients to extend optimisation reach across the client base.
  • Collaborate with product teams to improve our current offering, ensuring we deliver best-in-class work and inform, shape, and develop future propositions.
  • Lead on annual, quarterly, and monthly reviews for clients, communicating the success of our optimisation programmes and Strategy team with senior client stakeholders.
Key Skills:
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of CRO and UX methodologies and approaches
  • Wider knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, etc.)
  • Confident presenter and communicator
  • Commercially aware and driven
  • Ability to train, mentor, and support junior teams
  • Experience with long-term planning and stakeholder management
