Working Schedule

Are you enthusiastic about enhancing transportation systems and ensuring the effective movement of goods? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Logistics Transport Coordinator to become part of our vibrant team at Best Food Logistics. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing strategies to optimize transportation networks, ensure timely deliveries, minimize congestion, and improve overall mobility. Your focus will be on maximizing vehicle capacity and aligning utilization with availability.
As our next Logistics Transport Coordinator, you should be self-motivated, well-organized, and possess a proactive attitude along with a solid foundation in Transport & Logistics planning within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) context.
Collaborating closely with the Operations teams, you will engage in daily route planning activities to boost service quality and efficiency at our Distribution Centers.
- Executing route modifications, supporting the comprehensive re-planning process, and emphasizing continuous improvement by analyzing daily route performance to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Conducting a thorough review of live routes against actual ordered volumes each day, allowing for necessary adjustments to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered punctually.
- We prioritize Service, and within this framework, Transport Coordinators have several objectives. Routes must be planned in compliance with legal and agreed business parameters, aiming for high delivery performance targets exceeding 92% while maintaining optimal vehicle efficiency.
- Reliability and adaptability are crucial aspects of this diverse role.
- A meticulous and systematic approach to your responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently when required.
- Proficient in MS Excel, ideally at an intermediate level.
- Effective communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable working under strict deadlines while remaining accountable for your output.
- The ability to foster close working relationships and contribute to a small, dedicated team is essential, along with a willingness to engage and assist in problem-solving.
