Job Title: Chief Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Systems Engineer to join our team at Leonardo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and building secure systems for defence, government, and public sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical work and small teams on the design, development, and testing of secure systems.
  • Implement security control measures, including operating system lockdown controls.
  • Develop systems engineering artefacts, including documentation to support system solutions.
  • Provide specialist technical support to the business unit and support projects or wider programmes.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in systems engineering or IT solution delivery, preferably in a secure environment.
  • Strong technical ability with a good working knowledge of network and systems infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory services, Windows and Linux server installation and builds, virtualisation technologies, and workstation builds and deployments.
  • Practical experience of implementing security policies and system lockdowns, including Microsoft Active Directory GPOs and application whitelisting/blacklisting.
