Class 2 Day Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 2 Day Driver, you will be responsible for making multi-drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses around the South West.
Key Responsibilities:- Loading and unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security
- Planning route on a day-to-day basis
- Complete daily vehicle checks on your company phone
- Working closely with the network hubs
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations
- Attending regular training sessions
- Must have a UK Class 2 (C) Driving Licence
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Working to deadlines
- Confident, polite and a team player
- Good geographical knowledge
- Salary for Class 2 Day Driver is between £33,347pa - £38,209pa and MORE Depending on hours worked
- Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 48 hours per week, starting at 07:30hrs
- Saturday working will be required every 1 in 8
