Assistant Store Manager

At DSW Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring seamless store operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Elevate the in-store experience by modeling exceptional customer service behaviors and coaching associates to achieve store goals.
- Ensure customers have a positive experience by maintaining DSW store standards, including daily open/close tasks, store cleaning, and recovery.
- Supervise leads in planning and executing inventory management activities, including freight receipt, placement, markdowns, and MOOS.
- Responsible for all omni activities in store, including Charge/Send, BOPIS/BOSTS, and Delivery.
- Leverage inventory reports to maximize productivity and merchandise presentation on the sales floor.
- Maintain supply inventory to ensure successful floor moves, markdowns, and fulfillment in stockroom, cashwrap, clearance, and non-sales areas.
- Support the Store Manager in bringing DSW's Mission, Vision & Strategy to life in the store.
- Work closely with the Store Manager to understand and follow policy and procedure.
- Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Support team by training, coaching, directing associates, and communicating development feedback to the management team.
- Assist the Store Manager in resolving associate relations matters.
- Participate in the Performance Review process by writing and conducting Associate and Leads performance reviews.
- Support team in managing payroll and associate timekeeping activities.
- Minimum 2 years retail experience.
- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
