About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Inclusive Learning Lecturer to join our team at West London College. As a key member of our Inclusive Learning department, you will play a vital role in providing education, training, and skills development to our learners.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences. You will be responsible for delivering project-based literacy and numeracy through social enterprise mini-business ventures, enrichment activities, and preparation for work experience, focusing on OCN units at the Entry level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to learners with severe learning and communication difficulties, learners with ASD, and those who may be non-verbal.
  • Manage and create professional relationships with learners' parents/carers, external agencies, and the Head and Deputy Head of Department.
  • Manage multiple projects, maintain accurate records, handle sensitive information, and uphold confidentiality.
  • Work closely with colleagues to provide the best service and experience to our learners.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications listed in the Person Specification.
  • Experience in teaching learners with severe learning and communication difficulties, learners with ASD, and those who may be non-verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain accurate records, and handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
