About the Role

The post holder will deliver high-quality care in accordance with guidance given and work delegated by registered nurses. This role requires a person-centred approach to care delivery, ensuring safety and effectiveness in maintaining quality strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to patients in accordance with guidance and work delegated by registered nurses.
  • Ensure a person-centred approach to care delivery, prioritising safety and effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality care outcomes.
  • Participate in the Personal Development Plan process to maintain continuing professional development.
  • Utilise basic information technology skills to support care delivery.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Basic wound management skills.
  • Previous experience working in the community.
  • Direct one-to-one care experience.
  • Wide range of caring experience.
  • Awareness of current developments in primary care.
  • Knowledge of approaches to risk management.
  • Knowledge and awareness of developments in the community.
  • Knowledge and awareness of supports for older people.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent team leadership skills and work using own initiative.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Telephone and fax skills.
  • Flexibility in post.
  • Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence (for peripatetic role).

Contract Details

This is a permanent, full-time role with a 37-hour working week. The working pattern is rotational, and the role will be based in ICST within Cambuslang Clinic.
