Building Maintenance Technician

FM Conway is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Operative to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, to ensure functionality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform minor repairs on fixtures, equipment, doors, windows, carpentry, and conduct painting as needed.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, identify potential hazards, and report safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, update maintenance logs, and ensure documentation of completed tasks.
- Assist in larger renovation projects or facilities improvements and work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure projects are carried out in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in building maintenance or a similar role. You will have a solid understanding of building systems, equipment, and tools, and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing property or maintenance issues. This role may require you to lift heavy equipment, so you must have the ability to perform manual tasks. A full UK driving license is also required, as occasional travel to other company locations may be necessary.
