We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our data strategy and governance efforts. As the Head of Data Services, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Data Strategy: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data infrastructure, including data warehouses, lakes, and cloud-based platforms.
- Data Governance: Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, compliance, and security.
- Product & Services: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for data services.
- Engineering and Analytics: Collaborate with business units to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) & Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and metrics to measure success.
- Product Ownership: Strong experience in managing the lifecycle of data products, from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Delivery Management: Proven track record of delivering complex data projects using agile methodologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment within the UK financial services sector.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership: Be a leader both within function & across the organisation. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.
