Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site.
  • Lead and manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control project schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address issues.
  • Coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment to the construction site.
  • Collaborate with project managers to communicate progress and challenges.
  • Enforce safety standards and practices, conducting safety meetings as required.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges that may arise on the construction site.
  • Maintain accurate records of on-site activities, including daily reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A trade qualification or relevant construction certification is preferred.
  • Abseiling experience / qualification
  • IPAF & Chainsaw tickets
  • Willing to work away from home
  • Slinger certification
  • Triple STS/SMSTS qualification
  • First Aid and Health & Safety certifications are a plus.
  • Must have a clean driving licence
