Accounts Payable Clerk Opportunity

Pertemps Network Group is seeking an organized and motivated Accounts Payable Clerk to join a prestigious school near Andover. Our client offers a 5 or 4 day week for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the accounts office
  • Match invoices to purchase orders
  • Oversee the purchase ledger
  • Prepare BACS payment runs twice a month
  • Handle all queries related to the purchase ledger
  • Monitor budgets
  • Assist the school accountant with monthly reconciliations
  • Post petty cash payments and receipts
Requirements:
  • Experience within an accounts department
  • Strong IT skills, especially Excel
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Happy to undertake a DBS check
  • Own transport due to rural location
  • Available to start immediately is an advantage
Benefits:
  • 37.5 hours (5 days per week) or 30 hours (4 days per week)
  • Full-time salary of £25,000- £27,000 depending on experience
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Free school meals during working hours
