Job Title: Records Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Records Officer to join our team in Manchester on a 24-month fixed-term contract. As a Records Officer, you will play a crucial role in the migration from Livelink to SharePoint project, working closely with the Records Manager and other key stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyse large volumes of migration data to ensure new records meet current SharePoint requirements.
  • Complete pre and post-migration data analysis and validation activities to ensure sufficient metadata capture and consistency of approach.
  • Offer advice and solutions on information and records management best practices.
  • Support the coordination of workshops and meetings to share EDRMS-related strategy and policy developments.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders while communicating effectively.
Key Skills and Essential Criteria:
  • Good working knowledge of SharePoint, EDRMS, Microsoft Excel, and MS Teams.
  • Previous experience working as a Data Analyst, Records Officer, or Records Manager.
  • Knowledge and experience of archiving would be beneficial.
  • Ability to conduct data analysis with large sets of data, data validation, data reporting, and data filtering.
  • Run workshops to capture requirements with key business stakeholders and translate them to functional specifications.
  • Ability to prioritise, communicate effectively, and work as part of a small team while delivering high-quality work and working to agreed SLAs.
