Job Title: Information and Records Officer

Our client, a public sector body, is seeking an experienced Information and Records Officer to support the SharePoint Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) migration project. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project and Records Manager to ensure a smooth transition of information and records management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning and implementation of the EDRMS project, including the development of new records architecture and metadata capture.
  • Implement programs of work, manage logistics, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure a successful project outcome.
  • Analyze migration data to develop a new records architecture that meets current SharePoint requirements.
  • Complete pre- and post-migration data analysis and data validation activities to ensure sufficient metadata capture and consistency of approach.
  • Offer advice and solutions on information and records management best practice, BS 10008 compliance, and legislative requirements.
  • Support the coordination of workshops and meetings to share EDRMS-related strategy and policy developments.
  • Help implement updated records management policies and procedures to support the new EDRMS.
Requirements:
  • Contribute to the design and creation of the new SharePoint EDRMS.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders from across the organization.
