About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking, commercially driven Category Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering procurement expertise and services for all spend with external suppliers, ensuring compliance with legislation, EU regulations, and relevant procurement frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
- Manage a portfolio of procurement categories, including IT, goods, and services.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Provide procurement expertise and guidance to University departments.
- Contribute to the development of procurement policies and procedures.
