We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our team at The Lines Between. As a Research Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of qualitative research and analysis for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Research Support: Assist in the recruitment of research participants, gathering and reviewing documents for evidence reviews, and developing research tools such as surveys and discussion guides.
- Project Coordination: Arrange and carry out interviews, support the delivery of focus groups, and assist with transcription processes.
- Data Analysis: Conduct data coding and analysis, and produce draft sections of reports, presentations, and case studies to a high standard.
- Business Development: Contribute to business development through developing proposals, pitches, and social media content.
- Education: Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Experience: At least two years' work-based research or consultancy experience, ideally in social research.
- Skills: Excellent social skills, experience of engaging diverse participants in research, and strong writing and editing skills.
- Personal Qualities: Pro-active and flexible approach to task delivery, willingness to develop within the role, and excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
The Lines Between is a research consultancy that delivers objective, robust research to inform, engage, and influence a wide range of service providers, funders, stakeholders, and communities. We provide consultation analysis, evaluations, primary research, surveys, case studies, and evidence reviews using a range of traditional and innovative approaches.
