About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Software Engineer to join our team at Addition+. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure software solutions for our clients in the defence and intelligence sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the setup of secure software development environments
  • Lead design decisions and feature enhancements for complex software projects
  • Ensure timely and budget-friendly completion of development projects
  • Manage proof-of-concept development plans and present to customers
  • Define CI/CD pipeline processes and testing methodologies
  • Contribute to the improvement of the UK's Defence Cyber Security Software Centre of Excellence
Requirements
  • Experience in designing and developing high-quality software products using Python, Java, C, C++, or C#
  • Knowledge of object-oriented software design and programming
  • Ability to build robust, tested code for complex software solutions
  • Experience with software configuration management tools such as Git/BitBucket
  • Eagerness to learn a broad range of software technologies, with a focus on native languages and Python
