Priory Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Ashridge. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing residential support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management
- Supporting individuals to develop life skills and independence
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and support
- Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of person-centered support and positive behavior support
- DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo)
