Overview:

As an IT Support Analyst, you will deliver comprehensive 1st and 2nd line technical assistance across various facets of the small to medium-sized enterprise (SME).

Your role will involve aiding the user community at both 1st and 2nd line support levels, addressing issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, telecommunication systems, and other endpoint devices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1st and 2nd line technical support for users through the IT Service Desk.
  • Assist end users in both physical and virtual environments (VMWare).
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for desktop and mobile devices.
  • Ensure all communication systems operate smoothly, aiming to resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Manage user accounts on Active Directory and Exchange, adjusting and maintaining permissions across file storage to uphold security standards and access to sensitive information.
  • Exhibit flexibility to travel between locations as required and provide remote support to other offices.
  • Support existing enterprise messaging systems (Microsoft Exchange) and unified communication platforms (Mitel).
  • Actively engage in the company's performance management and development initiatives.
  • Strive to produce high-quality work, adhering to deadlines and specifications, utilizing best practices and available technology.
  • Possess a background in IT within relevant fields such as Information Systems, Information Technology, Applied Networking, or System Administration.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11, VMWare.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange.
  • Proficient in handling desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and telecommunication systems.
  • Some commercial experience within an SME environment.
