The Faststream Recruitment Group, a prominent entity established in 1999 with a workforce exceeding 100, specializes in global recruitment within the Shipping, Maritime, and Energy sectors. In response to substantial market expansion and ongoing success, this newly established position presents a distinctive opportunity to develop and grow our Nordic Shipping recruitment division. You will collaborate with ship owners, management firms, brokerage houses, and commercial management entities, focusing on the recruitment of specialized roles such as Superintendents, Fleet Managers, Heads of Chartering & Broking, and Business Analysts.

Your role will involve delivering high-quality, permanent recruitment services and solutions throughout Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, leveraging our established brand and success to forge new client and candidate relationships in this emerging market. As a Senior Recruitment Advisor, you will be based in our office and report directly to the Associate Director of Shipping, working alongside some of the most accomplished maritime recruiters in the field.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian-speaking professional with a proven history in sales or business development. This background should encompass the identification of new business prospects, the cultivation of senior-level relationships, and the provision of high-value customer service and solutions. You should be prepared to travel to Scandinavia several times a year for client engagements and events, and ideally possess international business experience. While recruitment and maritime knowledge are not mandatory, a strong desire to learn and adapt to a new sector is essential. We are committed to providing the necessary training.

Compensation and Benefits

  • A competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, inclusive of base salary (dependent on experience), commission, bonuses, and additional benefits.
