Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve delicious food to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience for students and staff.
- Supervise and lead a team of culinary and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with your line manager to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image, promoting the company's values and mission.
- Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales and improve customer engagement.
- Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Support and train team members, leading by example to ensure everyone can excel in their role.
- Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
- Minimum of two years of catering experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Experience managing teams in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 qualification.
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ambitious and motivated individual, always looking to upskill and develop their career.
