Job Title: Agile Analyst

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking a highly skilled Agile Analyst to support the financial management of the European Western Balkans Joint Fund. This is a unique opportunity to work with a pioneering international organisation and contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day financial management of the Fund, including requesting payments and processing transfers of funds to other International Financial Institutions (IFIs);
  • Assist internal teams with matters related to earmarks, bank accounts, and other fund management tasks in SAP;
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Western Balkans grant portfolio, including preparing materials for governance meetings with the European Commission and other external stakeholders;
  • Process financial queries and reconcile data for EU funds contracted with EU Delegations/Offices in the Western Balkans;
  • Facilitate document requests during monitoring visits/external audits.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, international relations, development, economics, or finance;
  • Relevant financial industry experience from an international financial institution, international organisation, or private sector;
  • Thorough understanding of the Bank's business model, strategies, policies, and organisation;
  • Proven strong analytical skills with the ability to summarise data and information;
  • Computer literacy, conversant with Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with additional languages desirable.
