Job Title: Engineering Apprenticeship Lecturer/Tutor

Kingston College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer/Tutor to join our team. As an Engineering Apprenticeship Lecturer/Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students on our vocational courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and assess vocational courses in Engineering, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mathematics.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of students.
  • Contribute to the development of the Engineering curriculum and ensure that it is relevant and up-to-date.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that students receive a high-quality learning experience.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in an appropriate subject, such as Engineering or a related field.
  • Have a teaching qualification and experience of delivering training at Level 3 in an Engineering environment or an educational setting.
  • Have knowledge of new technologies to enhance teaching and learning and support students.
  • Be able to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines and have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Have an awareness of academic quality standards and be receptive to new ideas and initiatives.
