Job Title: Engineering Apprenticeship Lecturer/Tutor

Kingston College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer/Tutor to join our team. As an Engineering Apprenticeship Lecturer/Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students on our FE and HE vocational courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and assess teaching and learning activities on a range of units, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mathematics.
  • Develop and maintain a high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of students and employers.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental and college goals.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, including mentoring and coaching.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in an appropriate subject, such as Engineering or a related field.
  • Have a teaching qualification and experience of delivering training at Level 3 in an Engineering environment or educational setting.
  • Be familiar with new technologies and their application in teaching and learning.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and employers.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
