Senior Construction Planner Opportunity

RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Planner to join a well-established Tier One Principal Contractor on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the program of works for a large value Healthcare scheme, managing budgets, and coordinating with estimators, engineers, surveyors, and architects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Programme Management: Creating, maintaining, and reviewing a programme of work to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Project Coordination: Coordinating with estimators, engineers, surveyors, and architects to ensure smooth project execution.
  3. Supplier Management: Challenging and verifying suppliers and sub-contractors' programme and methodology to ensure compliance.
  4. Pre-Construction Planning: Developing pre-construction, design, and procurement programmes with guidance.
  5. Temporary Works Coordination: Identifying requirements for temporary works and liaising with the temporary works coordinator.
  6. Progress Monitoring: Independently assessing progress against programmes and reporting findings.
  7. PM Report Assistance: Assisting with the PM report and populating the planning and controls sections.
  8. Programme Development: Developing the programme and associated documents in line with the form of contract.
  9. Contract Compliance: Updating Project Programme in line with the Contract.
  10. Change Management: Identifying change and assessing impact on the programme.
  11. Cash Flow Planning: Understanding business need for positive cash flow and planning works accordingly.
  12. Software Utilization: Utilizing Asta Power Project for programme management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in planning and managing large value Healthcare schemes.
  • HNC or Construction-related qualification.
  • Relevant driving license.
