Teaching Assistant (Grade 4) - Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Springwell Learning Community. As a Grade 4 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal development of our pupils with Special Education Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in preparing lessons and resources
  • Support pupils with SEN in a variety of settings
  • Lead small and whole class group work
  • Complete records and reports as required
Requirements
  • Experience working with children/young people with SEN/SEMH needs
  • GCSE Maths and English qualifications
  • NVQ L3 qualification or working towards
  • Ideal candidate will have a car driver's license
What We Offer

Starting salary of £19,802 actual annual salary working 33 hours per week, term time only + 5 inset days. Plus, amazing benefits working for our Wellspring trust.
