About the Role

The successful candidate will assist the Director of Sales in managing all sales activities and events, including direct sales, sales solicitation, sales administration, public relations, and management of the sales team, with a core focus on MICE, Corporations, and Groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in producing the Annual Revenue Plan
  • Implement and monitor action plans to ensure revenue plan objectives are achieved
  • Analyse current and potential markets/trends
  • Bring in new and repeat business for the hotel
  • Create and implement special programmes to achieve greater productivity
  • Manage key accounts via Agents, Accor & Arora account managers
  • Coordinate the development of all promotional material
  • Provide direction on and conduct market research
  • Monitor competitor activities
  • Plan and execute sales trips to major market areas
  • Attend major travel functions to promote sales for the hotel
  • Produce monthly Sales reports and forecasts
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a successful track record of MICE, Corporate, and Group sales
  • Proven Customer Relationship Management Skills
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field would be advantageous
  • At least 3 years experience leading high-performance sales teams
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Delphi
