Job Title: Demand Planner Home Based

Salary: Up to £46,500 + bonus and benefits

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team in a home-based role. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for creating material plans to determine the necessary supplies, ingredients, and packaging needed for production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the Customer Services Team to meet sales order requirements for kit deliveries.
  • Monitor raw material and packaging stock levels to ensure they are just right.
  • Implement inventory controls to avoid excess or outdated stock and prevent shortages.
  • Review supplier performance and suggest improvements when needed.
  • Use forecasting tools and past data to fine-tune demand projections.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes within the supply chain, such as simplifying procurement and reducing lead times.
  • Apply best practices in planning and support cost-saving efforts.
  • Analyse production, inventory, and supplier data to make informed decisions and prepare reports for management.
Requirements:
  • Solid experience as an MRP Planner or in a similar supply planning role within the FMCG industry.
  • Comfortable using MRP/ERP software like SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for interpreting data to guide decisions.
  • Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy when handling daily planning tasks and resolving issues.
