We are seeking a skilled Technical Estimator to join our team at Focus Resourcing Group Careers. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will be responsible for interpreting customer needs and providing accurate project solutions using company software and design tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate project quotations and technical submissions to maximize conversion to order.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication within the Operations Team.
  • Manage and update project folders, taking ownership of key information.
  • Obtain all necessary information at the enquiry stage to offer the best suitable solution to the client.
  • Confidently discuss technical information with customers.
  • Ensure designs produced are compliant with current legislation, regulations, and industry best practice.
  • Support customers and colleagues in resolving technical enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to colleagues and customers alike.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge and experience in a similar technical role, preferably with a commercial market focus.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of engineering, contractual principles, and methods of working.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to customers.
