As an Evening Care Assistant at Dandelion UK, you play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to clients with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and other complex needs. Your assistance enables them to live independently, pursue their aspirations, and lead fulfilling lives.
Evening Care Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with Dandelion UK policies and procedures, treating all clients with fairness and compassion.
- Collaborate with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised support plans.
- Assist clients with personal care needs, ensuring their dignity and respect are upheld at all times.
- Support individuals in making positive choices regarding nutrition and assist them in meal preparation.
- Help clients maintain their living environment.
- Provide emotional and practical support in daily activities, promoting independence and personal development.
- Encourage and organise social, educational, and recreational activities that foster engagement and community involvement.
- Monitor clients' health and wellbeing.
- Contact the On Call Manager for managerial guidance in urgent situations.
Evening Care Assistant - Essential Skills:

Evening Care Assistant - Support and Development:

Evening Care Assistant - Desired Qualifications:
- Degree in psychology, health and social care, or a related field.
- Care Certificate.

Our support services operate 24/7, with a rolling rota that includes various shifts such as early, late, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays.
