Residential Care Assistant

Position Overview
Due to specific occupational requirements, we are seeking female candidates for this role.
Our client enjoys an active lifestyle, thus a successful candidate must possess a full, clean UK driving license to facilitate their independence.
Are you interested in providing live-in care within your local area?
Would you prefer a role that allows for extended assignments followed by breaks?
This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to assist a client on a one-to-one basis in their own residence.
Key Responsibilities
Join one of the UK's leading providers of specialized care. Within our Home Care division, we assist clients with spinal cord injuries to maintain their independence in their own homes.
About Active Care Group
Active Care Group is a pioneering national provider of complex care services, dedicated to delivering effective pathways and improved outcomes for individuals. Our approach to care is collaborative and holistic, supported by proven clinical and therapeutic expertise. We specialize in aiding young people and adults with complex needs to achieve positive progress and lead more independent, fulfilling lives.
Role Description
We invite you to become a Residential Care Assistant for our male client residing in a local area.
Client's Perspective:
In addition to my care needs, living independently is crucial for me. I frequently socialize with friends and enjoy going to the gym, for which you would need to drive me. On days without plans, I appreciate going for walks or having coffee with my caregiver, as I require assistance with tasks such as opening doors and making payments. You will collaborate with another caregiver during my morning (7am-10am) and evening routines (7pm-9pm).
Your Role:
This position involves supporting our male client with a spinal cord injury in his home. He lives with his spouse. You will reside in the client's home for a minimum of two weeks at a time, assisting with personal care (including bathing, dressing, and toileting), mobility support, household tasks, and social activities. This will include driving his vehicle, so a full, clean UK driving license is essential.
You will work alongside another caregiver during the client's morning and evening routines.
We are looking for candidates with prior care experience to work with this client.
Work Schedule
- We are seeking a consistent team member to work permanently with our client.
