About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sailing Coach to join our team at United Learning. As a Sailing Coach, you will be responsible for teaching sailing skills to students across various age groups, promoting a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality sailing lessons to students, adapting to their individual needs and abilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating best practices in sailing instruction
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement sailing programs, ensuring alignment with school goals and objectives
Requirements
- Proven experience as a sailing coach or instructor, with a strong background in teaching sailing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing student safety and well-being
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in sailing instruction and education
