Driver Hire (Torbay) is seeking a skilled 7.5T/Class 2 driver with HIAB experience to join our team. This is a temporary-to-permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive a 7.5T vehicle, occasionally a Class 2 vehicle, to deliver steel to customers in South and Mid Devon.
- Load and unload vehicles, requiring physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting.
- Occasionally, drivers will be asked to make deliveries in a van and move stock between warehouses in Paignton and Saltash.
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license.
- Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
- Must have safety footwear.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including hand-balling.
- Competitive pay rate.
- Standard working hours (Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00).
- Opportunity for a permanent position.
