Supplier Relationship Management:


Enhance and streamline the supplier network, ensuring our collaborations are strategically aligned with sourcing objectives across the UK, Europe, and beyond.


Category Strategy Development:


Oversee both tactical and strategic plans for categories, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and effective procurement outcomes.


Comprehensive Tender Oversight:


Direct and manage the entire tender process (RFI/RFP), integrating stakeholder needs, business specifications, and key performance indicators (KPIs) along with service level agreements (SLAs).


Contract Oversight:


Assist in regular contract evaluations, renewals, and negotiations, particularly for small to medium-sized initiatives, while providing commercial, contractual, and negotiation support across the organization.


Cost Efficiency & Risk Management:
Contribute to the achievement of cost-saving initiatives and risk management strategies, ensuring effective oversight of annual category expenditures.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:


Encourage and support ongoing improvement processes within the Procurement team and across stakeholder groups to enhance procurement practices and results.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Procurement Expertise:
Comprehensive procurement experience, particularly in indirect categories, ideally within Facilities Management, Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment, or Maintenance (CIPS qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory).

Commercial Insight:
Proven experience in contract law, drafting, and negotiation, with a strong analytical approach to managing procurement activities.

Effective Communication:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Technical Skills:
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Organizational Skills:
Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
