Position Summary:

We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic B2B Sales Professional to become a vital part of our innovative team.

The successful candidate will possess a strong passion for biodiversity and sustainability, coupled with a self-driven approach and a proven history of surpassing sales objectives, finalizing agreements, and generating revenue. This role encompasses both proactive outreach to potential clients and the management of incoming leads via email and phone, conducting client consultations, and participating in industry events, which may involve travel.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Outreach and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and engage potential clients within our target sectors proactively.
  • Handle and respond to incoming leads, ensuring prompt and effective follow-up.

Sales Engagement and Client Relations:

  • Facilitate client meetings, both virtually and in-person, to showcase our biodiversity mapping solutions and their advantages.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients, comprehending their requirements and delivering customized solutions.

Industry Representation:

  • Act as the company representative at industry events, conferences, and trade exhibitions.
  • Network with prospective clients and industry influencers to broaden business prospects.

Sales Strategy and Performance Tracking:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to formulate and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the technology or sustainability sectors.
  • Experience in selling to public sector entities, nationalized organizations, or local authorities, particularly in relation to public contracts and tenders.
  • A genuine passion for environmental issues is essential.
  • Experience in engaging with large corporations or within the sustainability/ESG domain.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and closing deals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong aptitude for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of thriving in a dynamic team environment.
