About Gower College Swansea:
Gower College Swansea is a leading educational institution in Wales, renowned for its high-quality teaching and learning. With six campuses across the city, we cater to over 4,000 full-time learners and 10,000 part-time learners, making us a significant employer in the region with a turnover of over £50 million.
The Role:
- Part-time position (18.5 hours per week)
- Fixed-term contract for 1 year
- Salary range: £13,000 - £14,000 per annum
- Based in Gorseinon and Tycoch
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess learners in the Motor Vehicle sector through NVQs, apprenticeships, and cost recovery courses
- Work with the team to assess and verify learners' portfolios to meet external verifier and awarding body requirements
- Maintain and build relationships with industry customers to secure contracts
About You:
- Teaching and learning qualification (e.g., PTTLs) or willingness to work towards
- Assessor Award (CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32/D33, or Training Assessment qualification) or willingness to work towards
- Proven experience working in a motor vehicle setting
Benefits:
