The Role

We are seeking a part-time Motor Vehicle Assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will work 18.5 hours per week on a fixed-term contract for one year. The salary range is £13,000 to £14,000 per annum, and the location is Gorseinon & Tycoch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess learners in the Motor Vehicle sector via NVQs, apprenticeships, and cost recovery courses.
  • Work with the team to assess and internally verify learners' portfolios to ensure they meet the requirements of the external verifier and awarding bodies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers in industry to secure contracts with existing and new organizations.
About You
  • You should hold a teaching and learning qualification, such as PTTLs, or be willing to work towards it.
  • A relevant Assessor Award, such as CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32/D33, or Training Assessment qualification, is required or you should be willing to work towards it.
  • You should have a proven track record of working in a motor vehicle setting.

We offer support and guidance to successful candidates to achieve their Assessor Award under the TAQA qualifications framework. If you hold a D32/D33/A1 Assessor award qualification, we would love to hear from you. We can provide update training to refresh your Assessor qualification.
