Legal Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Advisor to join our Legal team at ERSG Ltd. As a Legal Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business operations by providing expert legal advice and guidance on contract review, negotiation, and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and negotiate client contracts for temporary assignments and permanent positions
  • Advise Business Managers on commercial terms and post-execution contract management tasks
  • Review and amend third-party agreements, such as non-disclosure/non-competition agreements and supplier agreements
  • Attend client meetings or liaise directly with clients to support ERSG Recruitment consultants in their efforts to win new business
  • Manage and resolve national and international legal disputes, including contractual disputes and employment matters
  • Act as a first escalation point for legal and contractual queries arising from the Contracts & Compliance team
  • Oversee and support the work permit application process performed by junior members of the team
  • Manage a junior legal advisor and take responsibility for their training and development
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Advisor, Contracts Advisor or similar role
  • Strong understanding of contract law
  • Previous management experience of more junior legal colleagues is desirable
  • Degree level education (ideally a Law degree)
  • Competent in Microsoft Office
