Lead Stimulation Engineer

P&S Personnel is excited to announce an opportunity for a Lead Stimulation Engineer to join our esteemed client’s team. This position offers a unique blend of remote work and on-site responsibilities, ensuring a dynamic work environment.


Work Arrangement: The role will initially require frequent visits to the Head Office and operational sites to gain a comprehensive understanding of business and vessel requirements. After the initial period, the expectation for on-site presence will be adjusted based on operational needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily planning and stimulation design, collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager.
  • Engage confidently with clients regarding fracturing design, utilizing design software and pressure analysis tools.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all materials, including QA/QC documentation, job reports, and chemical reconciliations.
  • Work alongside the Vessel Supervisor and Engineering Team to generate and submit field tickets.
  • Direct and manage multiple projects related to research and development, fluid innovation, and vessel enhancement initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and training to both office and vessel engineers, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Travel offshore as necessary to conduct stimulation operations on board the vessel.


Qualifications:

  • A degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Proven expertise in stimulation design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with general fracturing design and proficiency in relevant software.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in fluid design, QA/QC processes, and environmental management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of working independently and striving for excellence.
