Job Summary
Recruit West is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our subsea services team. As a key member of our technical solutions team, you will be responsible for managing a team of designers and engineers to deliver high-quality engineering outputs and technical support for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of engineering design outputs that meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement effective engineering processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with commercial proposals team to provide accurate engineering cost, time, and resource estimations for tendering.
- Manage technical risk and ensure compliance with company QHSE goals and policies.
- Lead investigations into service quality incidents and perform other assigned work as required.
Requirements
- Degree-level qualification in a technical subject with extensive job experience and knowledge.
- Demonstrable experience of project management within the engineering field.
- Sound knowledge of decommissioning, subsea, and asset life extension product lines.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant product technical regulatory and certification requirements.
- Engineering design tools and systems.
- Knowledge of the project delivery process.
- Proven people management experience in a technical/engineering role.
- Significant relevant experience of developing design solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
