About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead our Eastern Green Link 2 project in Peterhead, Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering successful project outcomes, maintaining high standards of professionalism, and providing operational, strategic, and contractual direction for the project team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the project team to ensure high levels of commitment, morale, and motivation at all levels.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to budget.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the supply chain.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive and effective risk management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in civil engineering contracting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
