**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Medical Education team at NHS Fife as an Education Hub Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing and developing our new Education Hub at Cameron Hospital.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of medical education to students on placement from various programmes, including the ScotCOM programme.
  • Collaborate with counterparts at our Education and Simulation Centres across other sites to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies, educational bodies, and other stakeholders to further partnerships and expand the use of the Education Hub.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the learning environment and ensure the Hub meets the needs of medical students and other users.
  • Work closely with the Undergraduate team to coordinate and support the delivery of medical education, including the development of educational materials and resources.

**Requirements**

  • Professional qualifications and experience in medical education or a related field.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a confidential and sensitive environment, handling confidential information and maintaining confidentiality.

**Working Arrangements**

NHS Fife is committed to reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid.
